Fit the screen to the stage and seating.

Check the nearest tables, back-row sightlines and stage height before setting the screen size. Presentations with small text need a different content review from full-screen event imagery.

Coordinate the cabinet grid, wall finish and service access. Review sample content under both working lights and the lighting used during an event.

Fixed wall or reusable event system?

Permanent wall

Choose a fixed display when the screen stays in one location. Coordinate it with the interior finish, service clearance and room AV system; plan installation work around the venue’s operating schedule.

Reusable event inventory

Choose rental panels when screen size or position changes between events. Include handling, supports, labelled cabling, spares and storage in the purchase scope, alongside the panels themselves.

Ready for the next event

For reusable event panels, plan the route between the room and storage. Include protective cases, labelled cabling and spare parts, with time for inspection and packing after each event.

Four decisions before ordering.

  1. Seating and text size

Mark the nearest and farthest viewers for each room layout. Test slide titles, agendas and names at their actual on-screen size before selecting pixel pitch.

  2. Beleuchtung und Kameras

Review the display under daytime, working and event lighting. If events are filmed, test the specified display and camera settings together during commissioning.

  3. Sources and room divisions

List presentation laptops, video playback and live feeds. Agree the processor inputs, switching and independent output needs for combined and divided rooms.

  4. Content and staff handover

Agree screen canvas sizes, portrait templates and update responsibilities. Include startup, source selection, content changes and shutdown in the venue handover.

Plan installation around your venue.

  • Drawings and mountingFor indoor fixed installations, we provide product and back-frame drawings, project-specific back-frame CAD design, wiring diagrams and installation instructions. Drawing and design support is free; physical frames are quoted to the agreed scope.
  • Installation around venue operationsShare access routes, lift and doorway dimensions, installation hours and the surrounding interior plan. Agree power and signal paths, maintenance access and the local installation responsibilities before production.
  • Testing and sparesAgree factory acceptance checks, representative content and the spare-parts list. Order documentation includes test videos, FAT inspection records, packing photographs and spare-parts images and lists.

Planning a hotel display?

Hotel LED display questions.

Choosing the display

Should a hotel choose a fixed LED wall or rental panels?

Choose a fixed LED wall when the screen will remain in the same position and become part of the room interior. Rental panels suit venues that repeatedly change screen dimensions or stage locations. Compare the full operating arrangement: supports, handling, storage, power, service access and staffing. A freestanding LED poster can handle welcome information separately from the main event display.

How do I choose pixel pitch for a banquet hall?

Start with the closest seats and the smallest text guests must read, then check the farthest viewing positions. Presentation slides, event names and detailed video can have different requirements. Screen size also determines the total pixel canvas and how sources are scaled. Review representative content at the intended viewing distances before selecting a pitch for the room and budget.

Can an LED wall replace a ballroom projector?

An LED wall can serve as the main display for presentations, video and event imagery. Review the existing screen position, viewing angles, ambient light, available power and supporting wall before replacing a projection system. The AV team should also confirm source switching, audio routing and the new pixel canvas so the room remains practical for the events it hosts.

How should the display work with changing room lighting?

Check the display under the lighting conditions used for arrivals, presentations, dining and celebrations. Agree suitable operating brightness and content settings for those conditions during commissioning. Daylight and reflective finishes also affect visibility in lobbies. Where events are recorded, include a camera test using the specified display configuration and intended recording settings as part of the room acceptance process.

Operating the space

How can hotel staff change welcome messages and event content?

The workflow depends on the display and playback system. LED posters use Novastar TB players for local content playback, with the exact player selected for the product. Main event walls can receive sources through the specified AV and processing system. Agree who creates and publishes content, the screen dimensions and the update method, then include those tasks in staff handover.

What should we specify if content comes from hotel software?

Provide the software name, the information to display and how that information is exported or presented. The AV team can then define the player or source connection, screen layout and update responsibilities. Agree this workflow with the software and integration partners before purchasing hardware, including network access and any scheduling needs, so the complete content path can be tested.

How is maintenance access planned in a hotel interior?

Confirm the service method of the selected cabinet or poster, then check access after the interior is finished. Front-service walls need working space at the screen face; other arrangements may also need rear access. Review staging, furniture, wall trim and cable routes together. Include access tools, spare parts and the venue’s maintenance procedures in the final installation and handover plan.

What information is needed for a hotel LED display quotation?

Send a floor plan, proposed screen dimensions, room photographs and the nearest viewing positions. Describe whether the display is permanent, rebuilt for events or moved as a poster, and include sample content and AV sources. Access restrictions, installation hours, destination and target opening or event date help define the scope, along with the frame, control equipment, spares and packing.
